Hey there mama,

Having been pregnant three times, I understand the complex emotions that all mothers-to-be are experiencing, especially when it comes to having photos taken.

When I am getting to know my maternity clients in preparation for our sessions, one of the things I will ask is how you feel about the overall prospect of having a professional photo session. 

Most soon-to-be moms I speak to are quite gung-ho about their maternity photos, while others might express apprehension about the idea. I understand the emotions. On the one hand, this is a monumental moment. You are with child, you are radiant, you are excited, and your life is about to change forever. On the other hand, you are a little uncomfortable with your changing body and the thought of standing in front of a camera freaks you out.

I am here to tell you that there is nothing to be nervous about. We will create photographs that you will cherish forever and ever. Not only will your friends and your family absolutely adore these photos, but in the future, your child, and their children as well, will continue to treasure them. In fact, while reflecting on how beautiful you looked, their amazed responses will be, "Wow mom!"  Trust me.

In other words, please don't allow any qualms you might have about your body, whatever those may be, prevent you from having photographs taken which will become some of your family's most beloved possessions for years to come.

And there is no need to be concerned about putting together the perfect ensemble for your photo session. I am here to assist. Not sure what to wear? No problem. I have a small client closet of beautiful maternity gowns for the new mom to be to choose from.

Not sure how to pose? No worries. I will guide you through comfortable and relaxed poses that will capture your inner glow and accentuate your natural beauty. But I will also make sure to take plenty of un-posed photos, as well.

My goal is to make sure you look and feel gorgeous from beginning to end while also having a great time.

I will be by your side to help plan all the little details of your session. Everything, from what to wear, hair and make-up decisions, to ideas about location choices.

During the actual session, I will set up my equipment, we'll throw on your favorite tunes, take a few deep breaths to release any nervous energy you might be having, you will 'strike a pose', and the fun will begin.

Following your session, we will get together and choose your favorite images and decide how you would like to display them. Our studio offers a variety of gorgeous products for your home. Some of my expectant mom's favorite products are the framed storyboard, the heirloom photo album, and our fine art canvases.
